iPad apps

Here is a list of the iPad apps we use in school. I will add more as we introduce them!

Raz-Kids (Kindergarten student log-ins coming soon!)
On Raz-Kids students can access interactive eBooks at their level.

Scratch Jr.
Scratch Jr. provides an introduction to coding for young children. In school the kids use this app without much teacher support. They love figuring out how to do new things and sharing/learning from each other.

Native Numbers
Native Numbers is a fun way to gain number sense and practice basic math skills.

Farmyard
Children use Farmyard to design different farm scenes. We use this app for storytelling and for math. We often design a scene to import into the app Educreations (there we can add a sentence or a number sentence).
*Felt Board is a similar app, but it is isn't free

Other fun math apps: Geoboard, Number Flash, 10 Frame Fill

Other apps (we use for showing our thinking or creating projects at school): Educreations, Book Creator, Screen Chomp, Tellagami, Drawing Pad

Fine Motor practice: Cut the Buttons
